Symptom: New pump has "needs maintenance" alert

 A new PHD Ultra, Pump 11 Elite or Pump 33DDS pump has a warning that it needs maintenance and/ or calibration when it arrives. 

To resolve the issue:

The operator needs to pull the plastic tab that is in the battery compartment out, so that the clock battery can engage. Otherwise the pump can’t calculate how many hours remain until it needs to be calibrated, and when it is turned on it will miscalculate the time since the last calibration & maintenance.
